About the author
Brendan Scully is a former police officer with over ten years of experience. Since leaving the service Brendan has become a consultant in the area of occupational violence and aggression prevention. Brendan has been advising the Australian Nursing Federation (ANF) in relation to prevention and management of occupational violence and aggression (OV&A) in health care since 2001 and has also provided training in this area to the Victorian Department of Health. Brendan also assisted with the making of the film that is featured in this tutorial.
