Description

The purpose of this learning activity is to provide nurses with the knowledge and skills to assess and manage patients who present with chest pain. The learning content is presented in two parts.  Part 1 provides a general knowledge on chest pain assessment and management. Part 2 builds on the knowledge of cardiac chest pain and provides an overview of the pathophysiology and management of acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

The assessment comprises a challenging 10 question quiz which varies each time you attempt it. You can review your marked quiz after each attempt to aid the learning process.
